what makes this an outstanding cover song: i have never ever ever heard of a great mariah carey cover maybe because everybody else’s mindset is about belting and singing just like her. but Will Oldham a.k.a bonnie “prince” billy did it with his original folk/country singing style with a punch of rnb-ish accompaniment. i love it! very well done!
