what makes it a great remake: it’s a tribute music to the late king of pop and i think whatever a musician does to pay tribute to another would never feel enough. instead of using his own voice, john mayer has expressed his message, whatever it may be, through his skills with this grunge-looking electric guitar and the fans understood it. i’m sure MJ does too.
